Who we are

The Department of Health Social Work and Social Sciences at the School of Public Health is a core unit that prepares “health social worker” as a recognized human resource in the contemporary healthcare sector. This department provides social science and humanities courses for the graduate and undergraduate programs at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. The mission of the department is to be a leading unit that provides health social work, social science research, and educational services that meet international and national demands.The department is responsible for the health social work undergraduate program, accredited by the National Council for Educational Accreditation in 2019. About 300 health social work specialists have graduated since 2007.
