"INTELLIGENT STUDENT-2023" HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED AT SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH ACADEMIC CONFERENCE

The "Intelligent Student" student scientific conference session of Public Health was organized on March 23, 2023, at the "Student Cultural Center" of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. 

At the conference students from affiliated schools of MNUMS, public and private universities such as Orkhon University and National Defense University participated. They have presented research works in 5 professional fields: public health and hygiene - occupational safety, health policy, management, health social work, and nutrition science. About 350 students submitted 62 presentations, 15 oral presentations and 15 poster presentations in collaboration with health institutions such as universities, the National Cancer Center, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, the Innovation Center of the Brain and Psychology Institute of the Academy of Science, and the RMC National Fertility Center. The Dean of the School of Public Health, MNUMS, Professor Davaalham D. - M.D., Ph.D., made a speech by officially opening the scientific meeting, wishing success to the participants. The chief judges were Gantogs Yu., M.D., Associate Professor Myagmarchuluun S. M.D., Dagvasuren G. MBA, MMath. 

A. Ariuntsetseg (student from class 501), B. Minjinsor, Ts. Monkhtsooj, N. Unurzul, E. Erdenetuya, and G. Odmaa won first place, in "Varicose veins among nurses and some risk factors". The second place won the team presented "Estimation of indirect economic costs due to liver cancer mortality" by N. Sanchirmaa (student from class 401) and T. Ariuntuya. Third place won B. Sansarmaa (student from class 401) and T. Jargalsaihan and others with the topic of presentation "Methods to overcome the stress level of middle and high school students". 

The first place won presented by T. Sosorburam, O. Tojildorj, D. Anu, G. Bolortuya, T. Ganzorig, H. Mandah, B. Monkhzul, M. Narantsetseg, G. Chantsaldulam, L. Bayarmagnai, D. Nyam-Osor with the title "Research on the consumption of dumplings on the days of the traditional Mongolian festival, Lunar New Year" in the poster category. Second place was won by E. Purevjav, G. Unurtseteg, H. Gunbolor, U. Anu-Ujin, L. Nomin-Erdene, E. Nasantogtoh, D. Enkhmaa, Sh. Altantuya's on "Emergency contraception- the study of drug use, knowledge, and influencing factors". Third place won presentation on "The results of the study of the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of parents about the human papillomavirus vaccine" presented by C. Jangarai, G. Narantsatsral, Ts. Ninjin, E. Nyamjargal, B. Engoon, G. Erdenejargal, O. Gandolgor. The abstracts of the presentations of the 5 professional fields of the conference were published and distributed online. In organizing the academic conference, the teachers at the School of Public Health and the student council of School of Public Health cooperated.
